:OOOOOOOOOOO
sugoi yo ne~ thank you for posting up this report!!!
ZOMG THIS SOUNDS WONDERFUL. ;_____; want to go want to go want to go.
~no ARASHI? noooooo~ I hope they do it for the concert that goes on DVD. ;-;
~GYAH *2* NEW SONGS??!! :DDDDDDDDDD
~I'm not too ecstatic about the catterpillar and the over-the-top fantasy thing per se but I'm really excited about the green theme! :D It can seem a bit pretentious, at times, I'm afraid, but it's still wonderful that they're trying to be environmentally conscious!!!
~I'm really excited about the setlist!! Other than wishing ARASHI was on it. ;-; Otherwise I really, REALLY like it. :D
~ooh hoo hoo~ female backup dancers~ 8D how hot. maybe even sketchy, heheh. I can see why some fans were upset~ pushing the envelop yet again, yay! :D
~The MCs sound totally fun!!!

Thank you SO much for posting this, I was dying to hear something! This has been a really rough, tiring day, but you TOTALLY just made my day wonderful~ yayyyy!

I dont like the female dancers too... XDDD I read that and well, I am taken aback... It's so SMAP.... Anyways, I cant believe they didn't perform A.RA.SHI, that's the biggest shocker.... They always perform it every YEAR!! T_T

This is really a new route Arashi is going into. I would still support them, of course.. After all, they are still Arashi but I cant help feeling sad.....Oh wells, G'luck with the tour boys.... Thanks for sharing!!!!

Female backdancers: I can hear those fans screaming, "Oh!! No!! Don't touch my idols, you, bitches." XDDDDDDD Well, I'm not against having female backdancers in their cons. So all is cool.
Circus concept: hahahaha...... Imagining them wearing all those ridiculous costumes had me laugh my asses off, let alone having Jun-kun on the white horse. ROFL!! =D I would like to see that.
MC: They never fail to entertain me through their MC talks. <3333 Now, I know why Aiba-chan and Oh-chan went to Disneyland together.
Jun's solo: seems to be artistically beautiful. Apparently, some reported that he did modern dance for his solo?
Aiba's solo: I'm just choo happy that he played blues harp for his solo. That's what I've been hoping he'd do for his solo. <33333333333333
Nino's solo: Hahahahaha.... OMG!!! I think I'd laugh just from hearing all those Nino fangirls screaming if I was there attending the con. XDDDD Nino, you naughty boy!!!!
Sho's solo: heard that the choreo for his solo was quite nice. Can't wait to see this as well. After all, it's Yaracchi's choreo.
Ohno's solo: I was hoping that it would be accompanied by a ballet or contemporary dance throughout the whole duration. But it's ok, I can be satisfied by just listening to his powerful voice singing one of my fav Dream "A" Live songs. =)
And last but not least, I wanna see the opening dance routines, and the choreos for move your body, flashback, and once again!!!! XDDDD

Thanks for gathering bits of con reports from here and there and consolidate them for us. *Chuuuus*

[this is good]
Thank you for the summary...I've been having trouble looking for the report and stumble across your journal ^^

Ahhh~~ I don't know how I feel not hearing A.RA.SHI in their concert >.<
But I don't really mind the female backdancers as much. Probably because I didn't see it myself XP

LOLOL~~~ I love the MC.
I could so imagin Oh-chan asking Sho-chan if 3 months a long time or not. I wish Oh-chan could be more confident ^^ And Aiba-chan with the fans calling him just "Aiba"~~ <3

Thanks again!!!
I think it's better if we just sit back and wait until the end of the tour to see whether they'll perform A.RA.SHI or not. =) It's too fast to grumble over the fact that they didn't sing it on the first day of the tour. They might have reasons. As for me, my biggest wish at the moment is probably for Subarashiki Sekai to be performed in the concert that'll be filmed for DVD. XD Btw, not only SMAP, Kinki Kids also have female backdancers. =) But why the fuss over the female backdancers?? It's not like they're sexing it up against each other on the stage. =) So, cheese and cheers!!!!

Dont worry, I have nothing against the female dancers, like I said, I am just taken aback. It's a very new thing that Arashi is going into... In addition, I am also waiting for more surprises for this tour. I am keeping my opinions very open and heck, I'll accept anything as long as its Arashi. ^^

Thank you for your complete entry. This is the best researched summary report I found all day of visiting various blogs and bbs.

Yeah, there's still some room for improvement and they have more than sufficient time until the last day of the con to make changes.
I have to agree, I think all things considered it's a very new direction... not just the backup dancers, but everything kind of is... but I'm open to it. :3 Change is part of life, ne. They have to try new things in order to keep improving.
\(^o^)/ my first real-time concert!!!! AAaaaa you're the best~~~
^^ as always, arigatou for your elaborate post...*hugzzzzz I can totally pictured it...watching them inside the Osaka dome...

shockerZZZ...no A.Ra.Shi?!?!no waaayyy~~~ T.T I hope they will perform it for DVD recording.Kinda weird.....
I think being a fangirl,it's normal to get annoyed of any opposite sex creature hovering around them...XP..demo,they're professional ..our boys would not go beyond that.

Oh GOD,is there any creature cuter than our riida?!!??!?! I WANT TO SQUeee him so bad~~~ Giving up fishing for 3 months would too hard on him ><;; riida,i wish i could help T.T
finally .. reveal of Aiba x Ohno disneyland date !!!
*jumping and rolling of joy*
thanks for sharing <33

THANK YOU FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE FAN REVIEW!!!

(I appologize for the all-caps lock).

KKYYYYAA!!!!
Omg!!! thank you for the full report... I am kyaing!! while reading this.. lol.. and Nino's solo.....ARGHGHGHGHGHGH...

Many thanks for report ^^ Sugoi ne!!

sound fun ne

MC so funny.

Mitai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So happy the report made your day xxx
I was so excited reading the reports and was thinking of many Arashians out there not being able to read the reports written in Japanese...
Although there are some English bloggers lucky enough to be at the concert, too!

I think ridiculous costumes are part of JE culture LOL

Look, I was into 80s hair metal band boys with make up and big hair...so nothing scare me that much LOL

Thanks for visiting and for leaving a comment!!! Your happy comment made me happy,yo!

With so much happening, it is hard to keep up with the boys nowdays! I remember last year when Nakai kun and other people teasing Riida for not having any work...that seems to be along long time ago!!!!

Any changes (even for better) bring with it some feelings of grief,ne. Such is human nature. I also share your sentiment,yo!

It is kind of scary because it does feel like Arashi is changing so much so quick and some of the things they are trying, do leave us (well, me!) with slight impression that they are trying to be who they are not...(like Nino trying to be super sexy)...but it is all part of growing up...maybe?

Maybe it is Arashi teenage rebel time LOL - they will try a few new things out - maybe make some stupid mistakes - grow up and learn from mistakes - settle down - find their own way ...ne!

With the past concert tour, they have changed setlist & stage direction...they are open to that.

Many say the first day is sort of like open rehearsal...I am looking forward to reading more reports in later dates to see what kind of changes (improvements) they may make!!!

Well...those 5 charming, down to earth, lovable, funny, sometimes hentai, often dorky, yet often Kakkoii, cute, talented boys will always be our Arashi no matter what...and we all love them for who they are,ne.

As a fan, even I have changed heaps in the past 8 months or so...first Iwas only interested in their funny side...the shock of finding out that they are JE boys...OMG...and I actually gave them a go and now love their singing and dancing as well as variety show funnies.

...not sure what I wanted to say now...anyway...yeah, it does seem to be that they are trying out something new - they are all for continuous improvement...which is a great thing xxx

Thanks for your comment!

Female backdancers - I can totally understand why some fans would be screaming although I am all for anything as long as it is good dancing/entertainment. Actually, I would not mind seeing more of sexiness XD...
I thought it was cute when Oh-chan did the dance with Minami in Tenseikunpu stageplay...I would not mind more of that kind of dancing...(hentai in me is really looking forward to Riida love scene in his Drama! he probably would not do it, though) but maybe I am one of a few...

Circus concept made me laugh a bit, too...carousel and castle and flowers and creamy soda (???) dream land...concept...and trapeze...well...LOL
But although I cracked up laughing reading the reports, I can imagine that once the dome was dark and everything lit up, maybe they were pretty cool...electrical parade, anyone LOL

I love the MC (why do they call it MC, though?????????) and I hope to (time permits) keep an eye out for new reports on different days and translate and post here as MC usually includes lots of interesting info and funnies.I would be very happy to pay $50 just to see MC part...

Aiba-chan and Oh-chan Disneyland story - yeah, although they did not specifically say it, it seems they went as a part of JE thingy cuz their manager was also there, ne.

So many people said Jun's solo was very beautiful ...and the ending sexy - as far as I know, he did do a sort of modern dance... a little bit of Momo from Kimi ha pet,ne!

I was excited about Aiba's blues harp, too!!!

Nino's solo...I prefer to refrain from voicing my opinion there XD

Sho's solo: yeah, I did not come across many report on his solo except many saying it was "nice" and typical (in a nice way) JE HIp Hop number with Sakurai seeming to be in his element rapping comfortably and having fun thrgouhout and yes... Yaracchi's choreo...cannnot wait until the DVD comes out so I can watch it...OH! BTW for the bits where Sho sang Yo yo yo , I think the big screen showed the other members also saying yoyoyo as in a bit of back chorus...and many fans did say they were cute...forgot to mention that...

Ohno's solo-I would be happy to just be in the same space as him one day...I don't think I would care if he sang or danced or whatever! I would be just so happy breathing in the air he may have breathed out...(am I crazy or just hentai?)

I am soooo interested in chreo for new songs, ne! especially Once again ...because its Ohno's...I think the other members saying chreo was too difficult...(my memory is failing me again...some mag?) no detailed report on the song's chreo either yet...I shall go hunting for more info...

Well...thanks for visiting again!!!!!!!! *Chu* back! xxx
Welcome to my blog!
So happy to spread Arashi love!
Happy you found me !

I think everyone wanted to see them do ARASHI! Maybe they are gonna do a big surprise next year for the 10th anniversary...I wanna see them in THAT costume...hehehe

I am not fussed with female dancers at all...bring them on if having professional female dancers add to the entertainment!

MC...well...I melted when I first read the report about Ohno ...sooooooooo cute...well...many fans are worried that Oh-chan may try to escape if he does not get enough respite during the filming (cuz he has already attempted to escape along with Nino when he first became arashi )...

I am a little worried, too...please let Ohchan go fishing every now and then!!!!!!

Aiba being called Aiba...wasn't he talking about that on Music station or something? and maybe in AAA dvd, too??? Fans calling him Aiba----! Well, he has always said he was friendly everyday idol...LOL

Thanks for the comment!!!
it's really a good day today!! ^________^

this was something new, the concert's theme....interesting.
definitely interesting to be there ourselves ne ^^

for preparing & sharing this nice report, gokurosama deshita! *bows*
good luck with your ticket, ganbatte!!! ^^;

Thank you for your comment!!!
So glad you enjoyed reading about Arashi concert!
yeah, if we cannot be there, we can still use our imagination and enjoy it from our computer...hehehe

I though Riida was so cute (MC comments) etc...so wanna see the solo dance/singing - not many reports on it but vest and black pants and white gloves...droolworthy...

Thanks for your comment!
Ohno x Aiba Disneyland story's HImitsu revealed! hehehe
Happy to spread arashi lovexxx

Hey, everybody SCREAM! hehehe
Thanks for your comment - happy to spread Arashi love!
I was kya-------ing , too when I was browsing through everyone's blog...
I would love to one day go to Arashi concert...if at all possible, maybe next year since it would be 10th anniversary...

Thanks for visiting!
Yeah! Arashi concert sounds like so much fun!!!!!!!
If just reading the concert report was that much fun,,,,I can just imagine what it would be like actually being there...!!!

Thanks for your comment!

"yeah, it does seem to be that they are trying out something new - they are all for continuous improvement...which is a great thing xxx"

I agree with you. One of the reason why I love Arashi is because the fact that they're always open to try new/different styles from what they've previously done before. Just from listening to their albums and singles alone, we can sense the variation in the genre of the songs they sing. And the image they have sported in the past years ever since their debut has not always been "love so sweet", "happiness" or "we can make it!", the sweet cute idols that please everyone. Arashi is a group of talented idols with boundless possibilities, so I don't want them to be confined to only a genre and I hope they'll, from now on, as they've always been, continue to expand those possibilities while still maintaining their professionalism (of course, we don't want them "bitching" on the stage XD).

XDDD So, you were not really fond of JE idols in the past? I didn't know what JE was until I got to know Arashi around 9 months ago even though prior to that, I had watched a lot of J-dramas starring JE idols, like KimuTaku, Nagase Tomoya, Jun-kun, and a few from the junior groups. Funny, but that's how ignorant I was. XDDDD

Thank you for your lovely comment - happy to spread Arashi love around xxx and here in Vox community, my little contributions seem to be appreciated - which is very nice...

I would love to one day be there for sure...I am gonna do it!

Oh...It is not that I could not get the ticket...I live in Australia - a bit too fart to and too expensive to go to Arashi concert,ne! Better work harder LOL

Maybe there is a die hard Arashi fan who cannot speak Japanese wanting a personal interpreter to accompany him/her to Arashi concert...???All expenses paid plus concert ticket as the reward?
If you know anyone...please let me know! LOL

I feel thankful that u report them very much coz i don't no chance go to see them (so sad T T) but only reading or listening, I feel fun ^^ and happy already

I imagine arsahi's parade ^^ how's jun with white horse or aibachan in gift box and everything sugoi ne. I agree with blisscarnation and u. arashi try new style for fans always ^^

thanks again ^^

JunToshi moment....kyaaaaaa...I so would have wanted to see that in person...
They are such a cute pair,ne!

With Aiba taking Ohno to Disneyland and OhMiya SK reappearing...Jun better watch out! hehehe

[this is good]
wah :) i soo wnt to be there . ilove their song ONE LOVE. i heard it in trailer of HYD.it was so good :( sob. but i would like to get the goodies and stuff :)
[いいですね]
Thanks so much for this!!!!

ヤバい!!マジ行きたい!:( :( :( If only they'd come down under too >//<

Thanks agaaaaainnn!!! (ps, i'm neighbourhood-adding you coz I'm enjoying your posts~~ ^__^)
In Japan, and if you also happen to go to a snobby all girls catholic school (no offence to catholics) a bit like the one in Hanadan(Hey, my dad is a pilot and I was classed as a trailer park trash), and you get bullied into liking idols "it girls"(the mega rich ones with politicians or whatever as parents) are into kind of nasty environment and if you happen to be a little too determined,
you do sort of turn your back around and REBEl big time against all that LOL

So I was into the metal, the hard rock(think Sabbath, Maiden, Priest, AC/DC, Malmsteen, bit of G&R, bit of Meatloaf, a bit of this and that...mainly OLD SKOOL stuff from 70s & 80s and a bit of 90s), when everyone else was into JE stuff, I loved reading comic books like Akira when everyone else was into girly stuff, wearing long skirt when everyone else was into mini, reading "Olive" (a japanese mag) or other non-preferred kind of books when everyone else is reading "Myojo" or "Seventeen"...

So, yeah, you can say I was not really into JE when I was in Japan or well...until last year when I came across Arashi!

You never know what is around the corner in this life...

Now I am sort of tolerant of JE idols...meaning I do not just shun them as such...but not really into anyone else but Arashi...I would not really be able to match the names and faces of Kat tun or Kanjani or whoever else...LOL

So...I am probably a very very very odd one out here...but my love for Arashi is real,yo!

Ohhh..Thanks for sharing the story. It's like virtual concert for me too.:)

Thank you for sharing the translations of the concert reports...i really enjoyed reading them...the concert sounds soo exciting and fun...I wish I could be there! ^_^Y

I'm so happy Ohmiya Sk are back together and Jun is so cute petting Ohchan's hair! XD

I hope you don't mind me adding you...and could you add me back too? ^_^Y

[this is good]
thanks for this wonderful con report! I was like squealing and jumping all the way. even though they said there are lady back dancers *ignores the girls*. The concert sure sounds dreamy and is eco friendly, LOL X3 I wanna be there, kyyyyyaaa... Sho's adorable not moving because of fear... a different nino in his solo, and a NAKED singing naked Matsujun, the ever so cute Aiba and the shy Ohno... kyyyaaaa... Arashi sure has lots of surprises! thank you!
I really like One Love, too! Lots of Riida solo xxx of course other members singing's great, too but hey, I am a Riida's girl XXD

Very nice love song,ne!

We just gotta hope that Arashi will one day do ALL AROUND WORLD Tour!

Thanks for visiting xxx

yay! another Aussie fan! We got to get them down under for sure...even if they only come to Sydney or Gold Coast...!!!!!!! Melbourne would be better since I live in Vic, though LOL

Thanks for adding me to your neighbourhood - I have added you to my neighbourhood, too now!

Thanks for visiting! yoroshikune!
Happy to share arashi love!!!!!!!!! Mitchiko san ha nihonn no kata desuka???
Well, until Arashi does the wrold tour, the next best thing to the real concert would be the virtual concert,ne!

Thanks for visiting!
Thank you so much!!

I can't imagine those Disney costumes at all.. -_-

I believe MC stands for Microphone Control? At events there is usually a MC person who announces the next act and so on.

Looking forward to more updates!
Because we don't have such a background, that's why we're more tolerant towards JE idols. I actually came across the group called Arashi in 2006. When searching for some Japanese songs, I stumbled upon Arashi's 'Here We Go' Album and driven by my curiosity alone, I dl-ed it. On the very first listen, it was definitely not the genre that I usually listened to (during that period, I was bent towards music which has Japanese elements in it. I don't how to describe it, basically songs which make you go, "Oh, this is so Japanese style". E.g. FictionJunction Yuuka, See-Saw, Asian Kung-fu Generation), so I remember I was not really fond of the songs, but I still keep it inside my hard disk anyway, mainly because I love 'Theme of Arashi'. I thought that was stellar and left a deep impression on me, 'cause for a Japanese boyband to have such a nicely-arranged song (great vocal harmonies) is rare for me. I never looked into Arashi but somehow, I knew that they're some sort of boyband, judging from their sounds. Later, I transferred the album to my external HDD which my friend lost. Fast forward one year after, I stumbled across "We can make it" Hey3x talk and found it funny. At first, I couldn't believe that the actor who I've seen in some J-dramas I watched, Jun-kun was an Arashi member. I was like,"Huh??!! This guys is a member of Arashi???" and rushed off looking for 'Here We Go' in my laptop's HDD, only to find out that I already moved it to the ext HDD which was lost. Later, found out that some girl/guy in the condo hostel I stayed at shared 'AAA Concert in Taiwan' in a local DC++ file-sharing community. Got hooked with the songs sung in the first 1 hour of the concert, love the concert atmosphere and their interaction with the audience and since then, I've been a fan of Arashi. XDDDDDD To this day, I'm sometimes still amazed by the fact that I love a Japanese boyband, considering I was very critical with the music I listened to. But with Arashi, whatever, I'll adjust my taste in music for their sake. XDDD
Ack!!! Sorry, ozarashi!! My prev comment's in response to your prev reply to me. XDDDD
Hey there! I have added you to my neighbourhood, too ,yo!
So glad you enjoyed reading the con report!
The next best thing to the real thing...well, it has to be!!!!
Thanks for visiting, neighbour!
So so so very happy to spread Arashi love!
We all want to be there, ne! But many of us cannot...so this is the best we can do...virtual concert! It is nice to know though that there are so many overseas fans out there following Arashi and cheering them on from far away...
Talking about far away...Ohno wishes to be taken far away...maybe I should just invite him to Australia...hehehe

Thanks for visiting!
Hahaha! I cannot really imagine the Disney inspired costumes either...but I guess Arashi had their share of interesting JE costumes in their lifetime...I must say as bad a name as it has...I don't mind THE Debut Costume...the raincoat...it actually looked pretty cute on them although a little strange...

They are talking about Outdoor live - so maybe that legendary costume would come in handy in case it rains...XXD

Thank you for picking up on my curious comment about MC - well, I know at weddings and funerals and so on, MC (Master of Ceremony) is the person who does the time keeping and announcements and so on...

I just never heard of that expression MC being used for concert talk segment before...we usually just say "the talk bit" LOL...so I wondered if JE has special meaning for MC or maybe it is just another funny Japanese/English thingy LOL

Thanks for the comment!!!!xxx
Thank you for taking notice of my mumbling...as you may have noticed, I go a bit crazy on my keyboard...bla bla bla...LOL

Anyway...it was nice to know that there are other Arashians out there who have never been into JE or Jpop before Arashi...

I think...THAT"S ARASHI QUALITY!!!!!!

There definitely is something about the boys...to suck ME into JE!
I am hard at converting my hard core headbanger friends and guess what?
I am being successful XXD Contrary to common misconception, headbangers do like talented musicians (dispute me if you like! Old Skool rocks! and many of my friends are talented musicians including classically traineds & Music majors & professional musicians) and they(my friends) did see talent written all over Arashi. So, we go shopping or whatever, we may be listening to Breaking the Law (Judas Priest) then Happiness (Arashi)...

GO ARASHI!!!!!!!! (by the way, Sakura Sake and Fight Song heavy metal arranged sound grouse! )

Tha- that's new!!!! But I do agree that their songs, especially the older ones are of quality, in terms of the music and vocal arrangements. Anyways, do tell us some day about those headbanger friends (--> tickled) of yours. XDDDD
woah, i was thinking the same after read their report for the first time!!
never watch smap concert
but their attraction? or the atmosphere?
kind of smap-ish
well maybe coz they got full budget this time (the setting was @__@)

ozarashi-san:
at first, i don't like reality_world idol too^^ (more into animanga back then)
this is the first time i like real ppl and didn't get bored quickly.
they're amazing ne^^
sorry, i know this post got lots of comment but i can't resist the urged to put mine and say thanks! omg i love this con report so much so fast<33
juntoshi rabuu~
Hello, there!
It is always nice to receive comments,ne! People here are soooooo nice xxx
So happy that you enjoyed the con repo!!!!!

JunToshi is very cute,ne xxD Rabu Rabu...!!!

Good to know there are some people out there who have not really been into JE idols before Arashi! I am starting to feel like less of a freak now LOL
Thanks for your comment and visitng here often *cuddles*

Thanks a lot for your report!^^ It really helps people like me who cannot go to Japan, to enjoy the concert!^^

I'm sooo glad they're using female dancers... finally they've grown up to be the not-so-typical JE band! >_<

I hope i can see at least some fancams... i wanna judge with my own eyes this "disneyland-parade" theme! XD

Arashi should do pay per view broadcast on Cable TV all over the world of their concert for their worldwide fans!!!!!!!

It probably would be better if they can do the real world tour...but at least if they do pay per view broadcast...everyone who want to watch their concert have better chance of watching the concert...even if it is through the TV screen ...at least LIVE!!!!!

Anyway...that is MY dream a live...

Well...thank you for visiting and am glad I could spread a bit of Arashi love! Ciao!

Thank you so much for this detailed report and the pictures! It seems like they really put a lot of effort into the stage setting this year to match the fantasy theme. I want to see Ohno in the green creamy soda with the bubbles XD

The two things that surprised me the most about this year's concert are the female dancers and not singing A.RA.SHI. It'll probably take some time for fans to adjust seeing them with the female dancers...they're grown-ups afterall...but you can't help getting just a bit jealous if the boys are dancing really close to the female dancers, eg. Jun's solo in the One concert.

I wonder why they didn't sing A.RA.SHI...I'd be really upset and shocked because the concert would feel incomplete as they always sang it every year. It's one of the songs that I look forward to when I attend their concert. They'd better sing it next year or else the fans won't forgive them. LOL

Their no-plan MC is the best!

[this is good]

hahaha, sorry for commenting so suddenly (I see you're writing comments with length that's enough to put my longest comment to shame XD) *hugs* yeay~ i think i've found my soulmate! in the 'long essay-writing dept', i mean XD.

Thanx for compiling and writing up such a detailed report of the first day con. Now I can actually imagine what I've read from other reports so far. To think that u havent been there yrself! I guess, that's the only way you can be objective abt it ^^. I hope u'll get to see them perform LIVE with yr own eyes one day, BELIEVE~!!

When I read abt the concept of the concert, I was very surprised. Coz it fits the image I had in my mind when I heard the theme song in the new album. It is a 'theme' song! (duh!)

Since u've brought up abt the "MC" thing (out of all ppl~ *tickles*). I really have no idea what that's supposed to stand for besides Master of Ceremony. But I just figured this one out for my own amusement XD --> Middle (of the concert) Chat.

P/S: Please tell more abt yr experiences converting yr head-banger friends to liking Arashi. I could use a few tips ^^ *hugs*

Wow...Thanks for compiling, translating and sharing all the nitty-gritty stuff about Arashi's concert!! Their MC talk really brightened my day! Wish I could be there to cheer with everyone... :D

Thank you for this extensive concert report. Love that ARASHI is really willing to try different concepts and stage it. Nice that it seems they got a good budget this year to do it. I'm sure the fan girls were taken aback with the female back dancers but they will adjust to it in time. Hoping that they will still tinker with the concert setlist. A.R. A. S. H.I. in a Arashi concert needs to be sang. That is like the signature song of the group. I would love to see Sho in air on that trapeze contraption. Concert master seems to like to tortore SHo-chan very much. He knows that Sho and heights are kind of in a love hate relationship. I hope that they will film the concert for DVD release (I guess when they have fine tuned the concert some more they will do that) .
Just love hearing news about the concert and all. Because it is the next best thing for international fans who have a harder time to get to go to LIVE concerts. My wish is for them to stage something in a different country outside of Asia for the 10th Anniversary event. I think that would make getting tickets a lot easier. Thanks a lot again for your extensive report and hard work. Arashi love is spreading and growing.

Very happy to spread Arashi love xxx

Thank YOU for visiting and reading my post.

They certainly put a lot of effort into Fantasy/Dream theme!

I so want to be there------!!!!!

Hello, there! Nice to have you visit xxx

...I know...I just cannot help myself with my comments...when I see comments that provoke my brain to get into a bit of overdrive...my hand just takes over typing...!!!

Happy to spread Arashi love compiling con report...like you said, I BELIEVE that one day I will see them LIVE!!!

Theme song in the new album really did give us a lot of clue about what they wanted to achieve with this concert tour,ne!

Thank you for picking up on my curious question about MC that has been bugging me for a long time...LOL : Middle (of the concert) Chat! Maybe that is it LOL!!!!

...my head-banger friends ...????oh...now you have done it...don't let me talk about heavy meatl! I can go on and on and on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

...just a little insight for you...headbangers do come in a lot of variety...the kind of metal I, and my friends like is probably classified as "neo-classical metal" and other genre of metal that show a lot of classical influence with melodic lines and theatrical effects. I am not into death, thrash, black metal and so on...

Many heavy metal musicians (the ones I like anyway) are often classically trained or at least admire classic music and their music influenced by classical music...

Quick examples:
Randy Rhoads - guitarist of Quiet Riot and Black Sabbath - classically trained (guitar) and heavily influenced by classical music
Y J Malmsteen - guitarist - heavily influenced by classical music - play beethoven on guitar etc.
Jim Steinman - pianist and composer collaborated with Meatloaf - classically trained pianist
Brian May - Queen
Ritchie Blackmore - Deep Purple
Eddie van halen - guitarist Van Halen - originally classically trained in piano
KISS and Metallica and many other rock/metal bands have had their music played by orchestra or put on symphony concert

The key to get into headbangers heart is that they usually like to hear about the technicality of the song composition as well as the high level of technique used in playing instrument (usually guitar in metal music) - harder it is to replicate, more complex the composition, the better...or if not technically complicated, originality is the key...like Old Skool metallers understand and respect Rock's roots in Blues, too...

You listen to Arashi songs, you realise that many of their songs have different elements and composition is quite complicated in some songs.
Many songs include orchestra -chic interlude and some songs have killer guitar riffs - like the beginning of [move your body].To convert headbangers, talk technique, talk composition, talk guitar riffsxxx

Another one is the vocal quality...powerful vocals are admired by headbangers...Metal God Rob Halford is hailed for his four and a half-octave vocal range between D2 and G#6!!!!!!!!!! And his voice is amazing...check out this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuVnqGoTYiM AND if you are interested, try and listen to the song called "Never Satisfied"...absolutely amazing...Meatloaf also has strong voice and his singing talent is amazing.David Lee Roth (Van Halen) has great vocal range, too which is analysed here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prv2Q50yK2E
There is also a very good analysis of voice quality of Bruce dickinson (Iron Maiden) I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZ7rFT53tZ8

* Just be careful watching the vid, though...the music contained is...ah...metal...LOL

Well, without bias, Riida has a great strong voice although his singing can sometimes be unstable...Listening to him sing Fight Song "demo sokode kusaruna---" in the performance at the end of Air band comp (not the CD version) put shivers up my spine every time I listen to it...talent? instinct? voice training? I do not know what it is, but that boy knows how to vibrato his voice!!!!!! And his voice...god sent, ne!

Talk vocal quality with headbangers...if you can convince them that the band has a "killer vocal" and continue to prove it by using facts (like the analysis done in you tube videos I mentioned above) , headbangers will melt on your palm...XXXD

...anyway...sorry about my rumbling...I could keep going but I think I better shut up...

Thanks for your lovely comment - so happy to have been able to spread Arashi love...

yeah, Arashi MC talk is so funny...I would love it if they produced a DVD compilation of MC talks...uncut...

Big budget and big expectations for DOME tour,ne!

I hear the boys have been rehearsing and having meetings late into the night putting together this concert...

Everyone being so busy must make it really difficult, too , ne.

I just hope that the boys do not get hurt or get sick doing so much...

Gotto love the boys xxx

A.R. A. S. H.I. not sang is a big surprise...I am sure they have a very good reason behind it! Or maybe they just run out of time...I am sure the tour will keep evolving so we must keep watch,ne!

Something special for 10th Anniversary event? I sure hope that they do that!!!!

Like you said... Arashi love is spreading and growing, ne xxx

Hey, there. I know they changed songlist for the second day of their concert...so I am guessing they will keep changing and the concert will keep evolving until it finishes!

Ninomiya: Maybe the drama will finish after 2 episodes because you cannot get up early enough for the filming...
